2023 World Prematurity Awareness Month
The Paediatric department of ERHK in collaboration with the Paediatric Society of Ghana (PSG) organised a graduation ceremony for Kangaroo Mothercare (KMC) clients to crown the 2023 World Prematurity Awareness Month at the forecourt of the Kabaka NICU Complex.
The event that took place on World Prematurity Day, November 17, 2023, had twenty-five (25) preterm babies graduating. The graduands were presented with certificates, a gift parcel, and a cake cut in their honour. There was also an official launch of the KMC support group at the event.
Dr. Arko Akoto-Ampaw, the President of PSG, Dr. Hilda Mantebea Boye, Management, a cross section of staff and clients, were in attendance.
