E.N.T. Department was finally established in May 2005. It is headed by Jannice Frimpong.
The Department manages two units which are Speech Therapy and Audiology.
Hitherto ENT. services was being rendered on an outreach basis by an E.N.T. Surgeon from Korle – Bu Teaching Hospital Accra.
The Department serves as a referral point for all ENT cases from the districts in the region

Weekly surgical procedures done under General Anaesthesia in theatre
Daily Out Patient’s Department Procedures
Monthly Literature Presentations by Residents
Monthly Outreach to the community as well as other parts of the region as a whole
Speech and Language Therapy
General Hearing Assessment by the Audiologist including Multi-Drug Resistant TB Patients
Assessing Premature ( Kangaroo ) Babies for deformities in the ear nose and throat.
